Ally Thompson has been labelled the “Glaswegian Surrealist”, which speaks to his artistic personality: restless, searching, and fresh. His career has assumed international dimensions, having exhibited in New York, Chicago, California, London, Paris, Normandy, and Spain.
Ally’s artistic versatility encompasses many moods, from his figure paintings, through the poetic introspection of his landscapes, to the apocalyptic visionary intensity of his surrealist work.
